Why I’m doing it: Great learning just doesn’t need to be that expensive.

Who was the greatest teacher you remember from school?

I bet it wasn’t the one who just pointed you to their favourite text books or the one who had to take you to some exotic location to bring their lessons to life.

No. It was the one who showed that they cared about you as a person as well as the subject that they taught, and filled their lessons with passion and personality.

But for some reason learning and development in the corporate world has polarised into these two offerings - either low-cost self-study or super-expensive all bells and whistles facilitated courses.

But I believe there’s a middle way that has all the human connection and deep intellectual stimulation, but doesn’t cost a fortune. That means a relentless focus on the things that add value to learners - great content and great facilitation.

So that means I can offer the same courses that I’d run for a big training organisation, but at a fraction of the cost. And that means more learning, and that means happier teams, creating more stuff that customers want. And that makes the world of work a better place.
